Red-Bull-Zentrale in Fuschl am See

The exquisite headquarters of one of Austria’s famous exports: Red Bull. Fuschl am See, Salzburg Land.
Stylish buildings project over a jade lake in an environment of woodlands and mountains. Their distinctive design has caused them to be referred to as ‘volcanoes’ and within them the Red Bull creatives work with a meeting room mid-lake! They are easily visible from the main road, on the other side of which is a larger lake.

Internationally famed, Red Bull resulted from a trip to Thailand by the manufacturing company’s Austrian founder, Dietrich Mateschitz, in 1982. He discovered Krating Daeng (Red Bull), as an aid for jet lag, and had the recipe adapted for European consumers. He co-founded Red Bull GmbH in 1984 with Chaleo Yoovidhya.
