The creation of Dahlia Garden in Baden-Baden dates back to 1967. Garden is situated in the southeastern part of the Lichtentaler Allee close to the mansion Palais Biron and not far away from the Monastery Lichtenthal.
Dahlias in brilliant colors
The season starts in spring with the tulips bloom. In the late summer from August onwards around 1800 dahlias are blooming. During the main flowering season the professional gardeners are supported by 20 enthusiastic volunteers. Without generous private donations the Dahlia Garden couldn't exist. The support association Verein der Freunde des Dahliengartens e.V. collects donations and organizes ev.
