The castle Schloss Hüttenstein is situated between the Mondsee and Wolfgangsee lakes in the municipality of St. Gilgen (village Winkl), Salzburg state, Austria.
The castle was built in 1329 by Archbishop of Salzburg Frederick III von Leibnitz. By the end of the 16th century the castle fell into disrepair. The castle Hüttenstein was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in the middle of 19th century.
